Congratulations to one of The Idea People’s web clients, the Mecklenburg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, for winning the Top National Website for 2011 from the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution!
“The Mecklenburg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution retained The Idea People to develop, host and market our large Chapter website in 2008,” said Chapter President Timothy Berly. “We knew that we had a really creative and informational website that could serve as a possible benchmark for the 800+ chapters across the country.”
All of the national Chapters of the Sons of the American Revolution are eligible to enter the annual Website Contest. The judging for the contest is held every year at the society’s annual Congress gathering. This particular award was announced during the 121st National Congress that was being held in Winston-Salem, NC, July 8-12, 2011.
“We are very proud of the work that The Idea People does for our chapter and our North Carolina State Society,” says Berly. “The Idea People makes it very easy for our Chapter to maintain the website with current photos, events, news and information.”
