Charlotte Web Design Company Launches New Charlotte Web Company Website!

IRockMyMac Small Logo 300x55 New Charlotte Web Company Launches Brand from The Idea PeopleA new Charlotte web company, I Rock My Mac, just launched their national brand, business and website today from The Idea People.

I Rock My Mac is a Charlotte-based Internet learning company that uses easy-to-follow video chapters to help frustrated Mac owners learn the software that came on their computer.   “Our world Seth Marlowe of I Rock My Mac 214x300 New Charlotte Web Company Launches Brand from The Idea Peopletoday is totally based on using the Internet to educate, entertain and explore,” said I Rock My Mac founder Seth Marlowe.  “I Rock My Mac is a resource that will help frustrated Mac users easily learn how to implement all of the software that came on their Mac to make their lives more creative, expressive and enjoyable.”

In the middle of the roughest economic climate in modern history, 40-year old Charlotte native, husband, and father of three girls, Seth Marlowe, leaves his well-paying career as a senior executive with a global software company and develops a website to help frustrated Mac owners learn the programs that came on their Mac.  What was he thinking!

“The economic climate is perfect for developing new technology-based business ideas,” says I Rock My Mac founder Seth Marlowe.  “We saw the dramatic need for taking the under-served niche market of frustrated Mac owners and developing customized programs for them to learn how to use their computers.”

Like most businesses, the idea and concept behind I Rock My Mac came from the personal experience of someone unable to find a solution to a frustrating problem.  “I purchased a MacBook Pro laptop in 2009 and, while thrilled with its speed and reliability, became very frustrated with the available learning options for the bundled software,” said Marlowe.  “Over several months I spent countless hours searching, browsing, reading and watching mostly low-quality, disorganized and oftentimes annoying content on at least 50 different websites.  I even lugged my MacBook into the mall to meet with a genius, but was distracted by all of the commotion and forgot most of what I learned within a few days!”

Marlowe’s career professional background of presenting and teaching complex software technology programs gave him instant resources and confidence to develop the programs for I Rock My Mac.  His experience in delivering high-quality information, training and consulting for carefully-selected niche markets would be the driving factor behind the new Internet product.  He then devoted hundreds of hours to learning everything about the Mac from front to back.

“I tested and selected the most advanced technology available on the Internet to create, organize and distribute video-based learning,” says Marlowe.  “I then hired a Charlotte creative, marketing and Internet design and development company, The Idea People, to design the highest-quality website possible and pull together the marketing and support plan for launch date.”

saf finder iphoto 221 New Charlotte Web Company Launches Brand from The Idea PeopleThere is competition for I Rock My Mac on the Internet, but the team at I Rock My Mac has developed some substantial differences that will attract and retain Mac users.  “Our video learning library console has all of the training videos contained in one location, delivered by one trainer, and the content is concisely organized to be very consumable so the user can access the training in small, ordered ‘chunks’,” says Marlowe.  “Plus, we focus 100% of our efforts on software that runs on a Mac.”

The technology behind the website is totally scalable and allows for thousands of users to watch videos and interact with the website without suffering any slowdowns or system glitches.  “The technology we are using on the website actually adjusts the quality and delivery speed of each video based on the user’s own Internet connection and bandwidth that they have in their house,” said Marlowe.

Why Does Your Charlotte Website Rank Low on Google?

Google search Charlotte web design 300x238 Why Does Your Charlotte Website Rank So Low on Google?“My website is way more creative than my competitor’s.  Why am I at the bottom of the search results and his bad-looking website is above mine?  And I have more Meta tags and a better site description than he does!”

We at The Idea People bet that you have had these feelings or thoughts when analyzing your business website’s search results.  And the answer that you’re looking for is probably not what you “see” on the actual website.  More than likely, the real answer is in the HTML coding and analytics activity hidden in the back of your website.

There are many items that go into the ranking algorithms of the major search engines.  Pretty images and graphics are important for the visitors on the front side of your website, and good HTML web design does play a role in the overall performance of a well-ranked website. But let’s focus our discussion here on what is happening with the backend of your website.

Here is a partial list of some very important web design and search engine optimization factors that The Idea People uses to help your Charlotte website rank higher in organic search results:

  • Keyword density on each page – how many times do you properly include your primary keywords in the text and headlines and mirror that to the HTML Meta keywords;
  • Google Meta Tag 300x247 Why Does Your Charlotte Website Rank So Low on Google?Relative links – does the page include relative links inbound and outbound;
  • How old is your domain name – you should renew your domain name for at least 5 years
  • Title tag – is the page’s Title Tag relevant for the page;
  • Site description – is the site description mirroring the Title Tag and keywords;
  • Text links – does the page have hypertext links anchored on keywords and phrases;
  • Social Media – does the page have social media links and bookmarks relative to content;
  • RSS Feeds – is there a RSS feed for the page;
  • One primary page topic – does the page only contain relative content;
  • Engine Submission – has the page been properly submitted to the search engine;
  • XML Sitemap – is the page properly submitted in an XML sitemap
  • Blog – is the page linked to/from your Blog and relative Blog content;
  • HTML source code – is it properly coded and organized…not sloppy;
  • Frequently changing content – are there sections on the page that update often;
  • Images tagged correctly – are the ALT tags relevant to the image and content;
  • Videos – are the videos on the page optimized, tagged and in a Video Sitemap;

One of the cool aspects of entrepreneurs and business owners doing business with Ferrara|Buist is their One-Point Contact™ Program.  This program is unique in the commercial design+build industry because their client only has one contact instead of multiple project contacts.

This helps Ferrara|Buist provide their construction clients with quick full-picture updates from one point of contact.  And it means quite a bit when one of their clients has hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars resting on a project deadline.
